Our Story

We're Ben and the girls, a dad and his two daughters running Terra & Twig from our home in Bayside, Melbourne.
We started Terra & Twig for two reasons. We believe the everyday things in a kitchen should be made to last, not used once and thrown away. And we wanted to build something together: a real family business, and a chance for the girls to learn how one works from the inside.
Who does what
The girls work with Ben to choose everything we stock, they lead our social media, and they pick and pack every order. Ben looks after the bits that need a grown-up: suppliers, the website and the accounts. The big decisions get made around the kitchen table, together.
What we sell, and why
We use everything we sell in our own kitchen. If we get something in and we don't like it, we don't sell it.
Everything in our range replaces something you'd otherwise throw away: beeswax wraps instead of cling wrap, Swedish dish cloths instead of sponges, silicone bags instead of zip-locks, linen instead of paper towel.
Most of it comes from small Australian businesses: Apiwraps beeswax wraps, Koala Eco cleaning, Dishee cloths, Us and The Earth silicone bags and Nord Haus linen. We like knowing who's behind the things we bring into our home, and we think you will too.

Packed by us
Every order is picked and packed by hand at our place in Bayside, shipped plastic-free in a cardboard box, and goes out within one or two business days with a handwritten note. If anything isn't right, email us at hello@terraandtwig.com.au and we'll sort it out.
Thank you for supporting a small family business. Every order genuinely means a lot to the three of us.
